Hendrys name not there so hes safe aswell  :redneck:

Walden needs a win against Harold to safeguard his position but really i think unless there will be some major shocks the top 16 is set.

and the only real chance of Dale not making the top 32 is if he loses to Ebdon and Campbell beats Ding and Bond beats Robbo.

no disrespect to Ebdon but dale has the easier Match.

Jimmy hasn't a hope in hell of making the top 48 unless he makes the quarters and other results going his way.

check out the comment though - Matt says he expects Hendry to drop OUT of the top 16 at the end of the season though :cracker:

Harold beating Walden wouldnt be a shock IMO. Walden may feel the pressure to win to remain top 16 just like he did last year when he was provisionally in the top 16 pretty much all season but bottled the last 3 or 4 qualifiers that saw him slip out at the end of the season.

Top 32 is set, all 3 of them guys will lose to the seeds <ok>

Beat Day and then its a walkover v Ronnie so then a win over Murphy in the last 16 would suffice for Jimmy. The best of 7s may suit Jimmy <ok>

i dont care about end of the season i think that will prove a blessing in disguise....at the moment he is in limbo if he falls out he will have inspiration to get back or pack it in.

yes i do understand that <ok>

i do know the welsh people is up for the welsh open but by coming from newport it has a feel of a little event trying to be big.

i was not a fan of the CIA or more accurate the idiot heads that was stewarding the joint both times i went.

also there wasn't a cafe on site for refreshments or there was but they didn't bother opening it up.

it needs to go back to a big city in Wales or preferably Bangor about a hour from me :redneck:

I only went to the Conference Centre once, but I go to the Arena every year. The Arena doesn't compare to the Conference Centre. Or to the Newport Centre come to that.

Newport is a dump, make no mistake about it. But when you've lived in Croydon, which is now known for gang warfare more then anything else, then you're used to it... Hotel I stayed in before was a bit shoddy, didn't offer any cooked food. Breakfast they offered you was Rice Krispies and fruit.

Still, I like the actual venue. Last time I was queueing up to get in, some woman walked out of the leisure centre in a swim-top, with a towel round and seemed to enjoy the attention of every male in the queue's eyes following her. <laugh>
