I’m reliably informed (by Wikipedia) that this phenomenon is a form of Sacred Geometry. I’m looking for something more specific though based on its shape.

I’m slightly surprised nobody’s got it yet. It’s one of those things that comes up on TV shows when writers want to sound smart.

Golden spiral is the subset that has a relationship to the Fibonacci Sequence. Think about the words in speech marks above.
