Seems I may have over complicated this...
It is a three word question, used a lot by Hearn in the 80s - kind of a WTF? of it's day - and if spelt correctly would come out as thus, with the vowels removed :
RYSR ?
But, because of Hearns Essex man accent, the author of 'Pocket Money' (superb 80s book about behind the scenes in the snooker world of the time) spelt it phonetically instead, as I have it down here :
RYWSHW ?
If nobody gets it in the next couple of hours, I shall reveal it and set an alternative.
