Ah, gotcha. It’s nothing to do with Weissmuller, but you went about ‘heart’ the correct way.

The middle (heart) of Tarzan is ZA.
Nope. Again, correct use of ‘heart’, but not the correct solution.

You’ll need to go back to 20th century UK culture if you’re not getting the Tarzan reference.

Without that clue I doubt anyone would have got there, lol. Even with, that's still quite obscure to those specifically interested in politics!
Michael Heseltine's nickname was Tarzan. So the Answer is Matt Selt.

Correct!

Admittedly that was a bit niche, not my best work. Well solved.

Let's get the obvious one out of the way first:
Mark Selby
From Vera Selby, and he does sometimes look like he's come back from the dead.

Could be Chris Wakelin on a similar line of logic as Prop.
Necromancing -> Waking the dead
+
Vera Lynn -> lin

I think this is it. There’s also a funeral wake, which fits nicely.

I think we need an LDS leaderboard update. It’s been a while.

That felt like a cheeky bit of theft on my part - but I'll take it! I can't imagine I'm doing great on the old leaderboard.
Next clue:
Homeless Docker

I can't see much value in continuing the scoreboard at this point. I don't think much has changed other than the numbers. Generally speaking, it's the people who play the most who score the most, which is pretty much self evident.

Kyren Wilson
Hun + Dog -> hangdog (if you squint and tilt your head)
Kyren fits the bill there, probably due to his seafaring past.

Gary Wilson is correct.
I was thinking
Attila without the Hun is Hungary without the Hun.
And Bob Wilson's 'tail' is Wilson
