Think capitals not countries.

I love this, it's better than the actual answer!

Doug Mountjoy?

Douglas is the capital of the Isle of Man, not sure about the rose connection. I haven't read Emma but I suspect there might be some joyous mounting going on!

Roseau is the Capital of Dominica and Emma is short for Emmerdale.

I wonder if throne is alluding to the toilet. I'll throw an early guess in with Louis (Loo) Heathcote.

Re: 2 Word Clue

OK I'll go Lu Ning to get a guess in while I think about the mark.

Re: 2 Word Clue

No, not Lu. Yes, getting the Mark-based clue is much more important I'd think. Although, again, I hope I haven't cruelly chosen a clue that is too specifically English for out international friends.

John as in the bog, and Spencer as in Marks and Spencer.

Re: 2 Word Clue

That one was a great clue. I'll spend a little bit of time thinking one up.

Another guess, brilliant.

Sadly not Drew Henry. LDS wasn't too far off with his Peter Ebdon logic. I can give more clues if people want.

Re: 2 Word Clue

The name Lukas (look as) seems to fit 'regarding'. I can't match Kleckers to 'favourite' though, in any sense!

Re: 2 Word Clue

Kleckers is Australian slang for favourite. (That's a lie).

No sorry, not Lukas Kleckers.
