Correct!
Maguire lost 9-7 from 6-3 up after the first session, and said that post-match after Rofl Kaulb interviewed him.

Ranking semi final. The strong favourite trails 5-1 but goes on to wins 6-5 and goes on to win the title.

I'll give another clue:
The current world champion at the time was playing in it.

It ended 6-5, the loser was the world champion at the time.
It was my favourite Best of 11 match for a long time, before Ronnie won that one against Selby.

Player wins the last 4 frames to beat an all time great in a deciding frame of a final, and captures his first ranking title in five years.

Was this Ken Doherty vs John Higgins Malta cup 2006 final? I think Doherty won in a deciding frame and it was his first ranking title in five years. I'm not certain if he won the last 4 frames in a row though.

Big final which I consider as my favourite match of all time. It went all the way to a deciding frame. The winner of the match had a "plan B" which certainly helped.

2002 Masters Final then? MjW v Hunter?
I always thought Plan B was in 2001 for some reason...

Not 2002. Plan B was in all of the Masters final Hunter was involved in. I'm not sure if he used it in other multi session matches though.
