Having contested probably the biggest and most famous match of all time, these two players met again in a major final the following season, the winner being different this time around, with the final finishing past 1am.

I'm going to guess Steve Davis vs Stephen Hendry 1988 Masters 1st round?
I'm not sure if they have ever met at the Masters so it's a hit and hope.

Hendry was unbeaten at the Masters until Angles McManus beat him in the 94 final.
