2. Weak as I am- Skunk Anansie (James)
3. Sunshine after the rain- Berri (Happycamper)
4. Roll with it- Oasis (James)
5. Spaceman- Babylon Zoo (James)
6. Ooh aah just a little bit- Gina G (James)
7. Hold on- Wilson Phillips (James)

I didn't know you could do that either. But now I do I'll be sure to turn it on (once I've figured out how)!

Wasn't expecting such a quick round to be honest, but I can cobble together a new list and post it at 9.00pm.

Unlike HappyCamper, I've not been keeping a spreadsheet of previous lists, so one or two of these might have come up before. It's getting to the stage where I just can't remember.

Anyway, these all mention body parts.

1. Head Like A Hole
2. Way In My Brain
3. Dickie Davies Eyes
4. Eardrum Buzz
5. Perfect Skin
6. Another Nail In My Heart
7. Young Blood
8. (I Just) Died In Your Arms
9. Bottoms Up
10. Legs

6 Squeeze

All three correct!

1. Head Like A Hole - Nine Inch Nails (Judddernaut88)

4. Eardrum Buzz
5. Perfect Skin - Lloyd Cole & The Commotions (KrazeeEyezKilla)
6. Another Nail In My Heart - Squeeze (KrazeeEyezKilla)
7. Young Blood
8. (I Just) Died In Your Arms - Cutting Crew (Judddernaut88)

All the ones I know are gone. But I'm sure Lloyd Cole, squeeZe, zz top, and Half Man Half Biscuit have appeared before.

Wire is correct! Nickelback is wrong (both in this instance and on a more general level).

Of course not! But it's far too early for me to provide any.

Re: The Greatest Hits Quiz!

Only kidding.

7. is by a female artist who was the lead singer in a Britpop band of the 1990s. Her first solo single had a race to no. 1 (and won) against the first solo release by one of the Spice Girls.

9. is by a male American singer, featuring a female American rapper. I'll take either artist for the point (but kudos if you get both). The rapper will be far more guessable as she is one of the best-selling female artists of all time.

Oops sorry, missed these replies. This notify topic thing doesn't seem to work very well.

The full answer for no. 9 was Trey Songz featuring Nikki Minaj, but as I said, either would do for the point, so Judders claims that one. And Steve has no. 7 correct as Sophie Ellis-Bextor, her first single (with Spiller) of course being Groovejet, which deservedly beat Posh Spice's first single (which was terrible and I think had Dane Bowers on, which is never a good sign) to the number one spot.

1. Head Like A Hole - Nine Inch Nails (Juddernaut88)
2. Way In My Brain - SL2 (Prop)
3. Dickie Davies Eyes - Half Man Half Biscuit (KrazeeEyezKilla)
4. Eardrum Buzz - Wire (Reg Varney)
5. Perfect Skin - Lloyd Cole & The Commotions (KrazeeEyezKilla)
6. Another Nail In My Heart - Squeeze (KrazeeEyezKilla)
7. Young Blood - Sophie Ellis-Bextor (SteveJJ)
8. (I Just) Died In Your Arms - Cutting Crew (Juddernaut88)
9. Bottoms Up - Trey Songz feat. Nicki Minaj (Juddernaut88)
10. Legs - ZZ Top (Iranu)

So it's another tie, this time between Judders and KrazeeEyezKilla with 3 points each (SteveJJ 2, Prop, Reg and Iranu all on 1).

But as I'm watching England vs. Scotland at the moment, I'll do the tie-break at the conclusion of the match. Hope that's OK. See you then!

Tie-break time for Juddernaut88 and KrazeeEyezKilla:

The main vocal sample and bassline in SL2's "Way In My Brain" are lifted from Wayne Smith's "Under Mi Sleng Teng". For how many tracks in total has "Under Mi Sleng Teng" provided samples? As usual, PM me your answers and whoever is closer wins!

Re: The Greatest Hits Quiz!

Postby James Bentley

Well, I have two wildly different answers in for the tie-break. Juddernaut88 guessed 25 and KrazeeEyezKilla guessed 689.

The correct answer was in fact 110, so our winner is Judders! Well played, sir.
