Yes, well played HappyCamper! I knew that my only chance was for someone else - anyone but HappyCamper, basically - to come in and get the jazz one, but alas it was not to be.

so far in 63 selections over 530 different artists have been featured. but inexplicably none of the below*! all some of the finest proponents of their art, yet apparently not as deserving as such 'luminaries' as fergie, sir cliff richard, and oasis(!)

1 Blinded by the Light
2 One Nation Under a Grove
3 Jesus Walks
4 Babies
5 Unfaithful
6 Boys Keep Swinging
7 Gravel Pit
8 George Square Thatcher Death Party
9 Maria
10 Welcome To Paradise

* assuming i've done my spreadsheet correct.

Oh man, please don't take my featuring an artist in a list as any sort of endorsement!

9. Carlos Santana?

I could swear his song was called "Maria Maria" (rather than just "Maria") and I'm pretty sure it wasn't in Spanish, but hey, I got nothing else so might as well try it.

Re: The Greatest Hits Quiz!

Postby HappyCamper

No. Not Santana.

"Maria Maria, she reminds me of a west side story" good song nonetheless.

8 is unusual for the artist in that it features vocals.
9 mid nineties cross-over hit for and artist who would have several notable english hits in the late nineties and the turn of the century.
