It’s well known that snooker’s origins lie in India, where its rules were established by Neville Chamberlain during the 1880s.
According to historians, what was the brand of table on which Chamberlain and fellow army officers played the first ever games of snooker?

Not Riley. They hadn’t quite started making snooker tables at that point.

None of the above, although Judders was probably closest, in terms of the sound of the brand name at least. It could easily be the name of a solicitors firm.

Prop hasn't logged on for nearly a month. I hope everything is okay with him.
Maybe someone else should post a new question?

Apologies, Judders. Had something to take care of and forgot I’d left this loose end.
I’ll try and get this moving.

Mark Williams made a record equalling 16 centuries during this years' World Championship.
How many did he make in the whole of that season?

Come to think of it, I should try to avoid setting questions where the answer is a number, because that's tedious...

Is it plain wrong to say 'less' in this circumstance, and would people in the street give me a strange look if I say that, or is it just more correct to say 'fewer'?
Always happy to improve my english, these kind of nuances are too subtle for me.
