It was not; Foulds’ only Ranking success was the 1986 International Open, although it was firmly expected at the time that he would go on to lift several more…

No, Gary never won a Ranker; closest he came was a 9-10 defeat to Stephen Hendry in the 1991 British Open Final. He did win the (then) prestigious World Matchplay invitational later that year, beating Steve Davis 18-11 in the final.
