Who was the unlucky player that ended the 2004/2005 season ranked number 16 but wouldn't be a seed the following season in any tournaments due to Shaum Murphy winning the World Championship in 2005?

OK next question:

At the Crucible, what has Steve Davis achieved 5 times, Dennis Taylor, Stephen Hendry, Peter Ebdon and Joe Perry achieved twice, and 21 other players achieved once? Ronnie O'Sullivan has never done it.
