2 of the 4 matches are already decided
Unfortunate that Carter v Jones and Ronnie v Robbo have to finish at the same time.

What was the score after the second session when he lost from 12-7 up against Murphy?

Day is no Murphy though, so I think he's fairly safe

True and judging by the session tonight, I think Day is a better Stevens than Matthew himself.

Surely it would make sense to move Stevens and Day to the afternoon giving them a session off and move the Robbo Rocket match to the morning so they don't have to play the back to back sessions.

Really looking forward to todays play.
I hope that Matthew finishes his match quickly (so I can catch some of the Carter/Jones match). Looks like the last frame in the first session proved to be a huge turning point! when Ryan Day was waiting to come out for part 2 he didn't look like the man with the lead

Well experience plays a very important role in that kind of situations and I think its Ryan's second QF in crucible.
On the other hand, Stevens has lost count with his QF's (9th or 10th) and as a typical slow starter he knew that the 2nd session was vital. He was behind in the past in much more difficult games (Hendry in 2005) and I doubt Day scared him at all even with 5-3 .

I still think Stevens will finish Day off pretty quickly. Day looked like a defeated man yesterday night. His head slumped, looking at the ground. He looked like he was considering pulling a Hendry and retiring.
