It's pathetic when all is said and done, no one holds this win against Ronnie, he earnt it and showed great maturity in doing so. Maybe he's finally grown up.
I found that a bit sad too.
I'm no Ronnie fan, but it seemed there were people out there who wanted him to win to 'stick it to the haters' rather than because they wanted him to win. Ali Carter made the following comment on Twitter; "All the haters, thankyou too, it gives me a laugh and you all get blocked..."
Shame that these 'fans' give the person they profess to support a bad name.

so Ronnie fans give it large cos the player we support wins
whatd you expect?
better than being a doom and gloom merchant like you who "supports" whoever is playing Ronnie rather than having your own guys to cheer on
and youve the cheek to call yourself Snookerfan?

Why are you that interested in what I did at The Crucible? I didn't even know you were there.

I never said I was there.
But Witz briefed me on your betrayal - how you ignored him and waddled up to bed, with a copy of Snooker Scene in one hand and a giant pork pie in the other.

They ruin it for the rest of us, in particular making it harder to enjoy watching Ronnie play yourself. They are part time glory hunting fans with no understanding of the game of snooker generally speaking.

Fans are fine.
Fanboys are annoying. I was referring more to Seifer types than I was to you.

Both the same to be fair. Equally as annoying, and letting bias block their views. I just don't think there are as many haters I am some twats as some of the Ronnie fanboys make out. The commentators are up Ronnie's bottom, and the fans continually give him standing ovations and sell out his matches. Yet some make out that he's the most hated player in the world.

he shunned us all
me, Sonny, Smart (thought thats understandable ) , Case, Monique, FRB etc etc
Witz78 wrote:your one of the worst I am some twats out there
you maybe dont resort to bad words and stuff, but your endless drone and whining is worse

Yes, the SnookerFan has been whining throughout the tournament. His whining reached crescendo proportions when O'Sullivan beat Robbo and he realised there could only be one winner of the world championship.
In protest, he announced he would no longer be watching his television - though continued to come back every five minutes with more anti-Ronnie drivel.

When did I say that?

I don't have time to wade through all your posts to find the exact time.
Suffice to say, you promised to stop watching your television and instead stormed out of the house and over to the pub next door. You found you were still banned from there so you forlornly wandered back home and on to the forum.

Circumstances robbed us of a better tournament – Selby being injured and Trump getting food poisoning. Funny enough that’s two players that can stick it to Ronnie.

So it was a bit of a case of the youngsters surprising the older guard but then you've got some old guard qualifying and beating the top 16. Don't know what else can be read into that really in comparison with this year.
