Women's World Championship has begun with day 2.

At least one table is televised and currently Bai Yulu v Chan Wai Lam are playing. WPBSA is showing the match live on Youtube on their channel. You can also view the match on Facebook from World Women’s Snooker page.

There is no commentary (at least on this match).

Group stage:

Bai Yulu 3 v Chan Wai Lam 0

Not the best of standard but in the second frame Bai managed to make a tough snooker for Chan where she missed several shots.

Third frame saw Bai make couple of decent breaks of over 30 and break of 45 where she missed the somewhat tricky last red to deny her a chance to make break of over 50.

Decided to end watching Rebecca Kenna v Narantuya Bayarsaikhan after the third frame, at time score was 2-1 for Kenna.

The WPBSA stream on YouTube is just unwatchable. Massive amounts of white noise like audio was recorded from inside an aeroplane cruising at altitude. That alone could be okay as you can mute the stream but the picture lagged and skipped live it was 2010 on a dodgy pirate stream.

Group stages are over and round 1 has begun. Biggest upset, in terms of seeds, was Emma Parker (seed 7) to miss out on knock out rounds. Zero wins from the group stages.

At the moment on WPSBA's YouTube page is a match Siripaporn v Mo Tian Tian. The lagging from yesterday seemed to have ended but the vacuum / aeroplane background noise is back for the Dyson faithfuls.

And https://snookerscores.net/tournament-ma ... ive-scores is not updated at all.
All matches show 0-0 score. The streamed match is in the 3rd frame et may be over before any live score update.

Round 1: Baipat Siripaporn 3 v Mo Tiantian 0.

Both players had their chances in every frame and the standard wasn't great. Expected more from Baipat but maybe she finds more form in the later stages.

This tournament has so far seen more players producing more 50+ breaks which is a good sign. Hoping to see improvement in the ladies' game.

This is awful from Ng On Yee i was at the World qualifiers last year watching Ng make a century at the moment shes struggling to make 8 with balls there for her

So if Bai Yulu wins, she will get a tour card and Mink will requalify via the rankings.

If Mink wins she remains on tour and the rankings tour card goes to Ng On Yee.

Correct me if I'm wrong

There is one more WWS Event to go after this in May the British Open to determine the Rankings situation but Ng On Yee is well ahead of Kenna who is 4th Reanne who is 3rd is on Tour anyway in the second of 2 year card.
