English Premier Junior Tour 2014/15

Postby roy142857

Noting to start with that ranked players dropping off the Premier Junior Tour because they've reached the age of 21 are Sam Harvey, Saqib Nasir and Adam Edge. Steven Hallworth (2013/14 Champion) and Oliver Lines (2013/14 3rd) also drop off as they gained Pro Tour spots. Other players drop off because they were ranked too low. In total 48 players are invited to play on the Premier Junior Tour

New players are the first three players from the North Tour and two players from each of the Midlands and South Tours, with remaining places being filled through a playoff. This year EASB made an exception and allowed 3 players to qualify from the South Tour as 2 players were tied for 2nd, so one less place was awarded through the play-offs (and one less place in the play-offs for South Tour players).

Qualifiers through Regional Tour rankings:

North
1st Josh Thomond
2nd Lewis Gillen
3rd Josh Cooper

Midlands
1st Kieran Phillips
2nd Callum Costello

South
1st Tom Lancastle
=2nd Mark Lloyd
=2nd Sonnie O'Sullivan

Qualifiers through play-offs (and their Regional Tour position):

1st Richard Haney (Midlands 3rd)
2nd John Morrell (North 5th)
3rd Connor Rollo (Midlands 4th)
4th Michael Bamber (North 4th)
5th Hugo Tomas (Midlands 6th)
6th Kieran Briggs (North 10th)

Good luck to all of them! :D
