In off fouls

Postby David G Sims

I would like to know what penalty points are awarded when a player goes in off the black after striking a red ball legitimately?

Red is object ball and going in off is the only foul so 4.

I am not sure if you mean the black dropped in a pocket or the white after cannoning the black.

If the black dropped it is seven penalty points.

Otherwise - as Kolompar says - it is four.

Thanks for your replies, what I am asking is, a player plays the cue ball and strikes the object ball (a red), after which the cue ball strikes the black and goes on off, what penalty points are given away?

Regards Dave.
