it changes in every club

the opponent is snookered after potting a ball (snookered himself). if he misses can i ask him to replay from the original position ? in tournaments they do it but in some clubs it is undoable because no effort was fournished to snooker the opponent !

It doesn't matter who played the shot before, if it's a miss it's a miss.
