My opponent was 1 point in front with pink and black remaining he Pots the pink to take him 7 points clear at this point I can only draw then he pots the black and goes in off. Who wins?

There was only black left on the table he potted it went in off we needed black to draw I thought it was last foul on the black. So are you saying black should have come out of pocket and be re spotted . Thanks

Yes. The foul on the black did indeed end the frame, but with the points level, there needed to be a re-spotted black to determine the victor. Hence, black is re-spotted & cue ball played from the D, after a toss of coin to determine who strikes first.
