Carter's doing well. Hope he does well this season to make up for his mostly poor 2011/2 season. He's far too good to be on periphery of the top16 imo.

i hope he falls off the tour very soon and has to go to Q School or fly a plane neither he will like too much playing snooker when he should be on holiday and traveling.

if they using this as a warm up i hope to god they wont win another match all season and Vanish from the tour ASAP.

if he does well at the start of the season it relieves the pressure for the remainder so picking and choosing will be easier. i think Robbo has it right to enter early events and give it everything so when the run up to the World comes he might miss the World Open.

It seems pretty straightforward. Try your hardest to accumulate points for Aus and Shanghai which still used the tiered qualifying and aim for a top16 place, if you're highly ranked enough, for the Masters and then pick and choose mid season until the Worlds cut off.

Adam Duffy 5-2 Tony Drago
James Wattana 2-5 Gary Wilson

2 stalwarts loosing first match and considering at the end of this season the top 64 on the money list and players with a 2 year card will be staying on tour it is clear to see how these 2 players will have a massive struggle to stay on tour.
