The commentators in the Mark Williams match today were boldly predicting John Higgins to go all the way to win the Wuxi Classic.

I've only really seen the said Williams match, and Eurosport's highlights on Monday. What do people make of this prediction? Too early? Is Higgins in form? Joe Perry is supposed to be playing alright.

They can't do that for The Crucible, but they can for gash sports like tennis. :grrr:

ill be having extremely strong words if that's the case

Agreed would so love him to make the quarters! Great to see him get this far to be honest, and although he will give perry a good game, theres no way in my opinion he will win the way perry is

Haven't figured the quote tweet yet on the phone, but on Gilbert, I think he is a good enough player to make last 16/QFs regularly, just needs to work on consistency, blows hot and cold a bit too much. That said he's had a pretty good start this year, so he might not be too far off today.

I was watching the Queens Club tournament last week on the BBC and they had this promo for Wimbledon where they were boasting about having a record 10 live streams on the go this year.

Makes you wonder why they can't even manage two for the snooker.

to be fair they were boasting about online streams and not TV.

Robbo played well today didn't he? From what I saw in the Eurosport highlights just now only Higgins and maybe Carter and Perry if they're at the top of their game could challenge him.

Also, Cao in his first full ranker QF :D

Shame about Scott losing, but wasn't expecting him to beat Milkins tbh.
