Smurph missed a thin black but Marco hasn't taken advantage.

And Shaun takes five in a row to win. Two 80+, one 60 and a ton from 1-4.
Not bad.

I also predicted 6-4 to Murphy, but you think I would prefer that instead of a good tense decider?
Getting predicts right is good, but if it means the other player winning more frames for a better match I'll take that instead.

My mate in the other room just shouted; "buck off Shaun Murphy."
I don't know what he said, but I agree with the sentiment.

Anyway, Murphy did well to recover from 4-1 down, like he did against Ding, won 5 in a row to win the match.

Bet Murphy hopes he gets Higgins.
John's been his Ally Pally lovely lady for the last two years.

Didn't Murphy last year too at this event cameback from 4-1 down to beat him 6-5? If he faces Higgins, he'll be hoping for more of the same
Although I'm almost certain Higgins won't beat Selby, may go close, but like in recent times he crumbles under pressure. I would never guess 2 years ago I'd say that about Higgins, but that's what happening with him atm.

Amazing. I left after the mid session interval and once again a player who starts very well falls apart in the second half here at the Masters.

Marco didn't have much of a chance from 4-1 to 4-4 in fairness.
