Gotta say this tournament has been a breath of fresh air
I was sceptical to start with but the "Group" stages did actually work and the ITV coverage has been great in comparison to the stale and patronising Beeb coverage were used to.
And Angles yet again showing what a great commentator / pundit he is.

That last frame reminded me of the 2011 Welsh and 2012 German Masters finals. Mags had a good lead and needed to take the last frame to extend it. Higgins and Ronnie took it instead and then dominated the final session.
I have a feeling that the same will happen tonight.

Couldn't agree more
Hopefully it finishes in fashion with a Ronnie win.

had lots of problems logging in then in the end i gave up as i knew i wouldnt have much time to post on here
i am hoping to be posting regularly during the uk championship but i wont be able to post as regularly as before partly because of time and because of computer problems
have been seeing most of the evening matches in this tournament and really been enjoying it i think allen an idiot tubby little fat bastard he should never have blamed carter for the chair shenanigans he definitely didnt mean it he just lent over but allen wrong to say what he did carter nobodys idea of a great player but it not good for him to be blamed for something he never meant to do wrong it more allen throwing his toys out the pram
he also said things about chinese players before and the like it good to have some controversy stirs up debate and opinion but he take it too far

I know Bingo is unlucky with the split but that Ronnie response was just a delight.

Ronnie in again. I don't think it'll be a long evening of snooker.

Already Ronnie looks to be playing better than he did this afternoon.
This could be over pretty quickly.

Ronnie wins a seemingly very important frame. He could run away with it now.

YEES
Ronnie takes that frame, an important one I felt, had Bingo got it, he would still have some momentum.
As it is, 6-5 to Ronnie I expect him to push on.

But he's only 1 frame behind and Ronnie needs another 4 frames

He needed to stay ahead of Ronnie for to have a decent chance. Even only one frame behind, I don't think Stuart can overtake him.

Ronnie still not firing tonight. Apart from the first frame, he missed several balls that are gettable for him in full flow.

True but I have the feeling Ronnie can switch up a gear if he has to.

6 all
Like Skull said, Ronnie still hasn't hit top form, missing some strange ones he wouldn't miss on that form.
Next frame very important.
