Looks like Igor won't be whitewashed at least. 8-1 Gould. Going be a very short second session unless Gould chokes and Igor plays much better.

Bond takes the last two frames of the session to close to 5-4 against Carrington. Chance missed?

Gould finishes off Igor. Should be a good match between him and Liang, especially if he can keep up the form of the first two frames for longer.

At least wait for inevitable passing up of Dott's match for an inferior one yet again before saying that.

Burnett starting to take control against Cao. From 2-4, he's won six out of the next seven frames. Again, would be a shame if Burnett came through in a section with the likes of Scott, Cao and Ben.

Holy rubbish, Gould dropped only 2 frames in his first two matches!
I'm pretty sure we'll see him at the Crucible this year, I can't see Wenbo stopping him in this kind of form.

Gould was merely solid for the majority of his match Igor, Igor not great (although Gould was brilliant for the first two frames today). Think it'll be close between Gouldt and Liang.

From 0-3 down to 10-4 win. Awesome job Robin
.
He just has to beat Ebdon to get to the Crucible.

There's no stopping Stuart Carrington. He also beats Nigel Bond 10-5. I never heard of him prior to this tournament. Who is this guy?

He's a relatively young player. Been on tour once before in 2011/2 and fell off. Good breakbuilder and don't know much else.
