A while ago I said Ding still has one weakness, his mental strength, and someone on here told me I was crazy to say that after the fantastic season Ding's had. Looks like I was right. It's such a shame.
Come on Ding, get a grip!
It was me actually
His weakness isnt't on the mental side anymore Holden, his main weakness is being able to maintain a high standard especially at the Crucible.
He's not maintaining a high standard because he gets frustrated. You can not play your A game all the time so you need to be strong mentally. This is still his weakness in my opinion. He almost looked like he was about to cry today. I like Ding, brilliant player, but not mentally strong enoughto win the worlds I think.

The only person who can beat Ronnie is Ronnie himself. The rest only have a glimmer of a chance.

Can we make a rule that fanboys working every conversation into a ronnie conversation get 19 days in exile? It's starting to snake hiss me off.
Ronnie is one player of 32, all 30 left in have a chance against him.

Ding has just played out of his skin there.
He is bothered by Wasley, immensely, Dont think wasley has missed the boat so far.
The run of the ball is mow going dings way.
Just these little things are enough to restore ding to pplaying his usual game.
But hey he missed the middle distance cut there

Very good win for Carter. Xiao didn't go away but Ali stepped it up the last couple of frames. He deserved to win the match.

Wasley been hitting balls way to hard and not taking advantage of Ding frustration now Ding has stepped it up and looking like 10-3 at the moment but there's still hope for wasley to re group over night

There's no live snooker at the moment?
Also it's part of the 50th anniversary celebrations on BBC2, their highest viewing figures.

Wasley should have done better in that 6th frame. Now it's over for him, I'm afraid. Ding won't let a 3 frame lead slip.

Looking forward to tonight's play. Two cracking matches coming to a conclusion. Fancy Murphy to have too much for Cope despite how well Cope has played, and Day to complete the job over Maguire.

Who's the old dude with the santa beard and medal that's consistently in the back of shot when Hazel is chatting to the ex-pros?
Also I've come to the conclusion Doherty will hit a purple patch and win the whole tournament, the prospect of having to sit next to Virgo, Taylor, Thorne or Parrot for hours on end should be enough to scare him into winning.

Still, it's been done to death. Only so much can be said about one final...
