Doesn't matter, Ali will mess up every chance he gets, and if he doesnt mess up himself faith will do it for him.

Carter has better pot success and long pot success, and Selby is 9-5 up.
Classic Selby.

If his performance remains solid, certainly he is gonna squeeze through.
The only prob there is, if he starts missing pots again.

Is it just me or are most players pretty bad at opening the reds from the black?

Ali played a lot better against Ronnie.
Especially in 2012, he didnt fall over like some think, Ronnie had to play well to beat him. Ok it wasn't the hardest match ever for Ronnie, far from it, but still you can only win against who's put in front of you, and Ronnie did that.

Anything worse than 9-7 this session and Carter won't win this match.
Even 9-7 I still don't think he will, but gives him a better chance thats for sure.

Playing the double? Wouldn't want the pack open either.

It was the wrong shot. I would never bring a safe red off the cushion with 50 point lead if everything else is on.

There was nothing else on. Every other ball was in the pack.

Yeah but one good split and it's frame over and Selby nearly did that.

Yep. There aren't many who have that wonderful way of getting through the ball, or stopping the cue and loading stun or stun-run through.
ROS and Hendry are obviously the ones who can/could. Robbo has learnt it too.

You are probably the only fan in the world who doesn't want his favourite player to have a big lead.
