I'd be worried about Robbo's stamina. I know I keep banging on about it, but he looked knackered in China, and was exhausted by the final his first time around, so if he runs out of steam against Ronnie, it won't be pretty.

3-1 Dale.
Any idea how either of them played?

Dale quite well, Wasley average. Hence, 3-1 for Dominic. And well deserved too.

Dale has had two 70+ breaks, Wasley a 66.

Thanks
Looks like Angles has stopped the rot. 11-7. Hopefully he can kill it off quickly now.

Anyone watching Wasley v Dale? I'm resigned to just using live scores after all attempts to stream have resulted in my Internet dying.
Internet is very important these days, isn't it?
Dale played very well so far and is leading 3-1.

He's more likely to lose to Mike Dunn in a ranking quarter final, oh wait...

Yeah, I got Angles and Ken on.
Angles looked shaky for a couple of frames, but has just taken it to 11-7. He should start to turn the screw now.
Pity. I'd prefer to see a Selby vs Doherty quarter final.

So you admit he has a decent chance of winning easily then?

Dom Dale really plays well. Don't think that he could beat Hawkins if he reaches the quarters, but he could give him a tough match. His breakbuilding looks really good so far. He looks up for the challenge here.

Only because the biggest event in the sport's calendar doesn't always get live televsied coverage.

Could be long against Allen or Judd, and definitely will be long against Selby even if it isn't close.

I think if he makes it he will be far better prepared because 2010 was a completely new experience.

Worth pointing out that Wasley has played 5 best of 19s in the last couple of weeks including 3 that went the distance. He must be mentally shattered.

Sonny
Wasley doesn't tend to win easy and seems good at mounting comebacks though.

Day looked a bit jittery but I'm sure he'll settle down tomorrow. Either that or he's going home. Haven't seen the stats, only had half an eye on it but when I did it was obvious Day wasn't playing the same standard as he was in round 1 and Judd was playing a lot better, although he was still missing quite a lot as well.

His demeanor is also very good. He looks like a top player at the moment.
He sometimes looked like a clown in the past:

Come on Wasley, show some of that form from the first round.
I'd never really noticed how good Dom Dale was, he always seemed to be one of the games characters who was more personality than player but I was wrong.

Well, he won two rankers.
But I agree, his attitude sometimes gives you the feeling that he is more a personality than a good player. But the guy definitely can play Snooker.
