No, I want Smurphy to play Ronnie tomorrow, not Fu.

If Ding had got through this would have been the best QF line-up in a generation, regardlessof who wins this Murphy v Fu match.

And maybe a Higgins who had rediscovered his form instead of Alan.

If this is how Murphy plays when he only needs one frame to win, then Ronnie has nothing to worry about.

Smurph and Fu are choking heavily atm. Ronnie must be enjoying this if he's watching it.

Just seven matches left but seven very good matches in prospect as well. At the moment for the first time I think in the recent history of the championship there is the prospect of the Top 3 seeded players being the last three players remaining come Saturday afternoon

We already had the best QF line-up in a generation in 2011:
Dott v Trump
Ding v Selby
Allen v Williams
Ronnie v Higgins

I really like Murphy as a player and would love him to go through but I've got money on Fu to win the tournament.

Well now it's going to be Murphy, the luckiest player since god knows when, it's safe to say the bottom half are deciding who will face Ronnie in the final.
Before anyone starts about Ronnie still having opposition, no he doesn't. Put any of Robbo/Trump/Selby in that position and it would almost be as much a dead cert for the final.
Robbo v Trump is tasty isn't it?

Fu will never win the Worlds, you're money was gone the moment you placed that bet. You can root for Murphy without feeling conflicted.

Selby wouldn't be a certainty against Murphy since what happened in the World Open final.

If we set them on fire, they might play with a little more urgency.
