To be fair, his favourite player just missed.

It's the semi-finals.
Maybe the Ronnie fans have got their traditional farting noise machine in again?

Ken Do offers great insight. He says Hawkins doesn't want to give Ronnie a head start early on.
Really, Ken? I thought he wanted to lose this session.

is it just me....or does Ronnie seem a bit weirder than usual so far this tournament?
just the odd bit of body language or something but i almost feel he's waiting for somebody to play well against him so he can implode in classic ronnie meltdown fashion! But nobody can really get close enough for him to merit it :)

He just looks bored and disinterested, but that could be misconstrued as relaxed lol

He's been generally less impressive and slightly more negative than in the last two Championships, methinks. He looks a little jaded also, just in general. I guess this match will tell us a lot.

Bad miss from Hawkins. Also, Ronnie has not yet acclimatised fully to his new tip in terms of judging side-spin, it seems.

Once again, the side-spin judgement trips Ronnie up. It seems the cueball is responding more fiercely than he would usually expect.
