Hawkins may not have won a World Title, but he's been far more consistent at the WC than Bingham.

Surely though, asking who is the more consistent player and asking who has the better A Game are two different questions?

That poll was decidedly inconclusive.

Said it before and I'll say it again Barry's a QF specialist.

You could argue was for a different thing.
That one who was a better player, this is who has the better A-Game. They are not necessarily the same thing.
Player 1 might have a better A-Game than Player 2. But Player 2 might be more consistent, or might win more with their B-Game. Player 1's A-Game might only come through on very rare occasions.

The poll isn't about that, that would be a subject about who's the best when it matters most. My poll is about who has the better A game, regardless of where and when. Personally I've seen Hawkins play at a level above anything I've seen from Bingham, but others might disagree with that.

Would that be fair?
TheRocket wrote:Hawkins has a higher peak level. Bingham could never beat peak Robertson or peak ROS over a bo25 match like Hawkins did in the 2015/2016 World Championship.
However. Hawkins as we know is very inconsistent and his level can drop extremely at anytime. Thats why Bingham is a World Champion and Hawkins isnt.

I agree with all of this except that Ronnie was at his peak in 2016. From a potting/breakbuilding he was but his safety was awful. I’ve never seen someone hit the middle jaws from safeties so often in one match.
Barry definitely has a higher peak than Bingham though.
