Worst front runner; Selby or Robertson?

Postby Ash147

For two players who have both won the World Championship, completed the Triple Crown, and been ranked at WN1, I consider these two to be the weakest front runners out of anyone else who has achieved as much as they have. It isn't just that both of these players have lost matches from in front, but I think it's the manner in which it happens. I've seen both become too negative, and start overthinking things when they've had a comfortable lead. Instead of maintaining the aggression, or even stepping it up to get the match won, they go into their shells a bit. When you compare that to the likes of Ronnie, Hendry or Higgins, they wouldn't be giving their opponent an inch, and would be full foot to the throat when their opponent was down and out.

Both Mark Selby and Neil Robertson are great players in their own right, but I've always felt that both of them seem to have this weakness when they're looking over their shoulders too much.

The question is, which of them is the worse frontrunner?

Yea Robertson he goes so negative in front its as if hes waiting for a comeback

Robertson more than any other player would have won more without intervals.
