Group AK:
Tomi Leinonen 3 v Viktor Iliev 2.
Started to watch the match after Leinonen was leading 2-0. Iliev looked the better player throughout the last 3 frames but missed a crucial last red and Leinonen cleared the table.
Been a good day for Finns with Robin Hull, Patrik Tiihonen, Ville Pirila and Tomi Leinonen won their matches. Risto Vayrynen lost his first group match 1-3 but managed to get one frame on the board.
Jani Kananen has not started his match.

Group B:
Robin Hull 3 v Tin Venos 1.
Another win for Robin. First 2 frames were better than the first match, especially century break of 100 in the second frame. The last two frames were scrappy but good win. One more match left in the group stage for Robin.

Good result that. His opponent is a canny player

Matthew Glasby 3 v Tomi Leinonen 1.
Q tour event semifinalist was too much for Leinonen. Glasby was the better play all around and showed his break building potential with 73 break in the third frame. Leinonen needs to win the last group match to have chance to qualify to the knock out stage.

Last Group Stage matches are about to start for Finns at the moment.
Kananen v Womersley
Leinonen v Stoilkovic
As for the other Finns:
Robin Hull won all 3 group matches continues on. Breaks of 100 and 75.
Patrik Tiihonen won 1 and lost 2 matches, eliminated. No breaks of over 50.
Ville Pirilä won 1 and lost 2 matches, eliminated. No breaks of over 50.

Group AL:
Jani Kananen 3 v Daniel Womersley 0.
Great result for Kananen. He beat Q Tour Event finalist and WSF Championship semifinalist Womersley with good performance. Womersley was the favorite for the match and I am delighted for Jani.
First frame looked like Jani's but Womersley hanged on and got many snookers to get back to contention. Kananen potted the last pink to seal the lenghty frame.
Second and third frames were quicker and Kananen scored breaks of 64 and 52. It is not sure yet whether Kananen continues to the knockout stages with 2 wins and 1 loss. The last match of the group is the decider between Filip Blažičko and Adel Kalabušić.

Group Stage is over and for Finns results were mixed:
Robin Hull won all 3 group matches, continues on. Breaks of 100 and 75.
Patrik Tiihonen won 1 and lost 2 matches, eliminated. No breaks of over 50.
Ville Pirilä won 1 and lost 2 matches, eliminated. No breaks of over 50.
Jani Kananen won 2 and lost 1 match, continues on. Breaks of 64 and 52.
Tomi Leinonen won 1 and lost 2 matches, eliminated. No breaks of over 50.
Robin Hull is through to Round 2 (Last 64) as he won his group. Kananen starts in Round 1 (Last 92).
Knockout stages are best of 7 until the final which is best of 9.

Last 92:
Fergal Quinn 4 v Jani Kananen 3.
Even match which was decided on the last pink. Quinn needs to reign in his temperament, I did not catch the beginning of the match but his mannerisms were unprofessional in the later stages, constant head shaking, banging the cue on the floor. You need more patience and composure to make it in this game.

Last 64:
Robin Hull 4 v Kevin Hanssens 1.
One over 50 break from Hull. Otherwise quite scrappy match. Robin needs to improve if he wants to beat Antoni Kowalski who has won Q Tour Event, was Q Tour Global Play-Offs semifinalist and made the U21 European Championship final this season.

Robin Hull 4 v Matthew Glasby 3.
What a thriller, Glasby had a chance in the last frame but broke down. Hull then made an over 80 break to seal the win. Each frame felt like both had a chance, decider was a fair result, each could have won.

Florian Nüßle 4 v Robin Hull 2.
So it ends, fair result considering the play. Shame that Robin's tournament ended but QF is a good result. Robin needed to be little more sharp to win Florian. Interesting to see who wins the tournament.
