Good spot. Snooker.org threw me as it put his walkover as the last result rather than with all the other w/o's.

I didn't twig they were all running back to back with one another so the same players could end up in each of the quarters

Good result for Stephen Craigie beating Michael Georgiou 3-2

Can he join younger brother Sam on tour.

He did play on tour in 2008/2009 days before 2 year card.

and his last match in Q School before this year was a 4-2 loss to Ashley Carty in 2017

His Walkover was yesterday after his opponent won their first match a nobody cant beat a player not even with a walk over.

having lost in event one, they were both beneficiaries of walkovers in event two to get thorough to the last 64 there.

georgiou was due to play adam stefanow, who just lost his tour card. could be the end of the pole's brief career.

not many surprises in event two. but rory mcleod lost to ukraine's sergey isaenko.

Bad night for Grimsby. Both Dean Reynolds and Mike Hallett beaten. I am surprised Ray Edmonds didn't give it a crack.

That is correct! He was also a prolific gambler. I regularly saw him at the betting site at snooker venues giving his views and then splashing the cash.

The preliminary rounds of all 3 q schools are over. The next three days see the completion of each tournament, with 4 players gaining tour cards each day.

Of the 155 players who have competed:
22 remain in all 3 events, including Brian Ochoiski, Fan Zhengyi, Florian Nussle, Hayden Staniland, Jamie Jones, Lee Walker, Oliver Brown, Robbie McGuigan and Sam Baird.
41* have lost 1 match but have 2 chances remaining.
45 are in last chance saloon.
And 47 have already been eliminated from all 3 events, including Connor Benzey, Keishin Kamihashi, Kishan Hirani, Chris Keogan, Dean Reynolds, Ivan Kakovskii, and Mike Hallett.

*edit: 40 players have 2 chances remaining. Ollie Douglas, who lost his first match in event 1, withdrew from events 2 and 3.
