At least Ted seemed to have a modicum of knowledge about the game!
First 2 frames there, Ray was pretty damn good with breaks of 127 and 61. Those balls sounded way different to today? Almost every shot sounded like a kick!

They were the old Crystalaye balls - heavier, ‘duller’ in appearance and generally more difficult to move around. The Super Crystalate’s came in in 1972/73.
