Excellent.

A new ranking event is always good news. Especially one in a new area.

The European fans deserve more ranking events than they actually get. Let's hope it becomes a mainstay.

This will be pretty good but I am just craving for the China events to go ahead this year i.e. International Championship, World Open and Shanghai Masters.

He did by implicitly. He links the Turkish Masters, occurring in Antalya, becoming a mainstay to there being more ranking events in Europe.

That wouldn't go down with the modern game calling something a classic. I guess they would call the seniors tournament the Senior World Classic.

Re: Turkish Masters

Maybe they should have separate champion of masters champions and champion of open champions championships. And a playoff for those champions to determine the champion of champion of masters champions champion and champion of open champions champion.

Strictly speaking, 'Open' would be a 128-player tournament, 'Masters' would be invitational. But they've departed from that long ago...
