so judd goes above fat bastard into 13 and if he wins the final tomorrow he goes above matthew stevens and peter ebdon up to number 11 and guarantees his place in the top 16 whatever happens at the crucible even if he lose his first match there
in the other semi final ding goes above selby if he beats him but neither player can be number 1 even if they win the tournament

my tip to be Top 16 players after the WC but maybe not exactly in that order.
mark williams
mark selby
ding junhui
john higgins
neil robertson
stephen maguire
ali carter
shaun murphy
graeme dott
ronnie o sullivan
judd trump
peter ebdon
matthew stevens
ricky walden
jamie cope
stephen hendry
i think Stevens will beat Allen and Ebdon beat Bingham and Hendry will beat Perry plus Walden and Cope winning their match.
but if Allen,Bingham or Lee wins their opening match Hendry is out unless he has a brilliant run.

if Lee,Walden,Cope,Bingham and Allen wins no it wont be theres only 3 places up for grabs with hendry being the lowest point tally of the 6 in contension
Hendry cant afford for 3 of thoes players to win or he needs to beat Selby.

Thanks for the updates this week jojo, great job
Now that Judd is certain of top 16 I wouldn't begrudge Gouldy making it there as well in Sheffield.

would be nice to have a bit of black in there aswell but mcleod got his work cut out he just outside the top 32 would have to reach the final and if he does get past walden he play the fat bastard or dirt in the last 16 cant see it happening to be honest

realistically theres only the last three places to play for from fat bastard down and around eight players will be fighting for those spots what i will do when the world championship starts is try and update the provisional table after each match is completed or at the very least at the end of each days play
it will be colour coded ie players completed first round match players knocked out etc

ive done a quick calc Gould will probably have to reach the semis to get in the top 16 at the end of the season unless Walden and Cope loses 1st round then he could make it with a Quarter but unlikely.
wont be long before hes there though i think hes odds on to be seeded for the UK the way hes playing.
