Book that gives an inside view of Pro Snooker

Postby sigsky

I'd like to get a perspective of what the pro snooker tour is like. How do players interact, good and bad.. I can't think of a sport that is more personal given that every match is one on one with no net between. How do you handled a match with someone who you lost 6 consecutive frames and the match previosly. Zero interest in biographical stuff. Who respects who or not. Suggestions?

It is a good read but...:
1. Clive comes over as being a bit of a miserable old so and so who struggles to find a good word for anyone...
2. There's too much on the politics of the game from Geoff Foulds to Rex Williams...and while the subject should be covered, it could probably have been taken care of in a couple of chapters with a little more care.
