Allen 1 nil

Rewinded it and just seen it rofl

Joyce was sat in his seat, how the hell was he was his eye line?

Looks like Allen wants to have something to argue about. I've seen Alex Higgins once doing the same, saying to John Williams he was in his eye line when he wasn't. Williams wasn't intimidated by Higgin's silly antics though :hatoff:

Allen makes a fistpump after winning the 3rd frame on the black rofl

Looks like he just wanted to show Joyce that instead of wanting to release emotion... Joyce wasn't too impressed...

Finally someone's mentioned it. I can't believe they've chosen such a venue for a snooker tournament. Ridiculous!

Pardon?

Not the best thing for the players to hear airplanes above their heads every couple of minutes.

Allen playing mind games fist pumping again.

I don't particularly like his mind-game dross. It's complete and utter cringe.

The other player shouldn't let it get to them, but I remember Allen winding up Michael White something serious at their Welsh Open match this year, after which White came out and spoke about his battle with depression.

I think I wrote on here at the time that it doesn't show a lot of confidence in your own game when you have to bring out these little gimmicks.

Spot on :spot on:

If you're good enough then you show it on the table, not using silly mind games.

In the end Allen wins, but one could see he was trying his hardest to get into Joyce's head.

The thing I really don't like about it is that he's doing it against players like M White and Joyce players (on paper) he is clear favourite against.

Next TV match anyone?

It's only a little bit of mind games, son. No need to get your knickers in a twist. <ok>
