Best post for a while!
Meanwhile, Igor Figueiredo levels his match against Fraser Patrick and keeps his hopes for a good run alive. The winner faces Thor Chuan Leong next.

Three deciders are being played in the same time, sadly we can't watch none of them.

Igor won on the final black and as it seems, he is on the second TV table in a few minutes, against The Mighty Thor.

Walden won and so did Igor, who potted a tremendous long brown to steal the decider against Thor on the final black!

I hate when Eurosport starts half way through a match. I don't feel involved in a match unless I've seen the start.

Mark Davis 3-0 Mark Williams.
I also have a feeling that this can be Mavis' big chance for a ranking title.

I agree -he is regularly reaching the latter stages of tournaments and growing in stature

He manages to somehow lose 3-4!
Mavis
Mind you, I'd love to see Mark J Williams win another ranker - it's been a long time!

Alfie Burden also into the quarter-finals - only for the 3rd time in his 21 year professional career.
And they've all come this season!
That's a statistic the 'weak era' fans will love!

His 2nd quarter-final this season, after 14 years since he previously reached the last 8 in a ranking event!
Not bad for a 51-year-old!
And with a Burden v Bond quarter-final, Alfie could reach his first semi in his 21 year career, at 40 years of age - or, Nigel will make a semi for the first time since 1997!

Sorry for Igor, would have played Burden next, who he whitewashed at the Welsh, now he will probably have to qualify to the Crucible to stay on tour
Still it's probably the best quarters lineup we had for a while.
