I know right he basically pinched £21k from Ron while he was napping on the plane

Did the referee hug Bingham?

I was pleased but surprised that Lisowski beat Higgins as he often loses good leads.
I want to see him become a top 5 player

I'm currently at frame 8 of Allen vs Bingtao.
Johnson just said that Robertson won from 4-1 down.

I just saw the end of it. Not one man nor his dog in the crowd. Surely World snooker should do something about that? Isn't giving away the tickets better than rows of empties?

Lisowski is a class act. He'll make the breakthrough. Once he wins one he'll be in the top 6 soon after. Major scorer.

China don't care. It's all about the massive TV revenues.

I'm actually glad Ronnie's out. He should be home preparing for the Worlds.

Joe Perry has bought a home in the abyss after losing to Gary Wilson again. He really wanted to get one over the 'Geordie' cab driver, but failed as he found himself in 'Shredsville' late in the match.

Absolutely! The earliest he got knocked out the better.

I don't understand how it can be good to be beaten. Maybe I am just simple but it makes no sense to me.
Surely it is better to be going far in tournaments and building momentum & confidence??

Exactly. There is a 2 week gap before The Crucible. How long does it take to recover from hitting a few balls around?

Some fans have no confidence in his ability to win, it seems.

My honest opinion is: Ronnie lost because he wanted to. That's what it seemed like to me but I was a bit affraid to state that opinion here. But that's what it looked like to me.
Ronnie had a couple of very good chances to make a 147 in recent times but he did not even think about going for them. This time he did. Why? Maybe he wanted to go home and decided to take some money as well.

Good job Selby has been losing early all season.
He'll be super fresh for The Crucible.

Smart move from Selbo. He's giving everyone a false lead in a way.

Well, it is nearly Crucible time and it is hard to look past David John, Leo Fernandez or Boonyarit Kaettikun for the title.
Clearly the best rested players on the tour this year.

Taking some time off worked pretty good for Ronnie back in 2013.
