I,m not a fan of Dec/Jan,but not just cause of that,i,ve been feelin kinda low lately,but slowly n surely things are pickin back up again.


I finished 2018 on a high,i played a match on the 31st against one o the best players in my club and i beat him on the final black,4-3.

He had an off day by his standards,he <only> threw about five 20+ breaks at me,the highest bein a 27 colour clearence,he usually chucks three/four 30+ers,along with a handful of 20+ers at me,but in this match,in general,he played poor by his standards,it was a plain digestive buiscuit performance.

I played ok,nuthin special at all,i only managed one 20+er,a 21,but it did,nt half come handy,i did it in the decider,when he led 25-0.

It,s very rare that i win matches when someone chucks five 20+ers at me,but i dug in,made a good few 6,s,7,s,8,s,with also a few double figure breaks instead of 1,s,1,s,1,s.

I spent the New Year alone with the missus,was,nt in the mood for socialising/partying,had something yummy to eat,downed a bottle o red wine,watched some telly,then went to bed about 03.00ish.
