He already holds the Masters record, and cant see anyone getting close to that in the near future. The UK he was trying to be sole leader and he did.
Annoying if he loses this Final, but he'll get over this defeat very quickly I can assure you.
I agree that the UK final was more important than this match. Breaking Davis UK and the TC record was a big step.
But I still think losing heavily to Trump would hurt him. This is ROS most successful tournament and he's lost a final to Trump just recently.

I promise you all Ronnie is not done reaching finals and winning tournaments yet. I will quote this post in a couple of years and give you the list.

I think it would produce a bit better play and players would prefer it.

I think Ronnie will play better in the evening session, hard to play worse. Probably left himself to much to do and credit to Judd for punishing the mistakes.

At least he won 1 frame.
He can play with no care at all this afternoon and make it respectable. No way he can mount a comeback from this scoreline. No one can unless Judd's wheels start to fall off.

Murphy probably dresses like that to go to bed or to take a shower.

And that lax shot by Judd, friends, is why I don't think this will end up a hammering.
"Nonsense" indeed.

worst final defeat in coming. should shatter his confidence big time.
Ronnie beat Ken Doherty 10-1 in a final. I felt for Ken that day.

He takes his shirt and tie off to shower his top, then back on and his trousers off for the bottom.
