That's his way of playng, bashing balls in, not rolling them.
He played the yellow the same way against Ronnie in their last match and it cost him.
Exactly this. He could have played a little stun-screw on the green and kept the white away from the side cushion. He didn’t have to roll it dead weight (which is a shot he probably isn’t as comfortable with) as equally as he didn’t have to bang it. I think he gets a rush of blood sometimes. Although he’s maturing bit by bit.

He's slowed down, because he knows Ebdon is watching.

Hawkins reaching another semi would be terrible to imagine but I can see it happening.

With Kyren Wilson probably next and then either Gilbert/MJW, it's definately possible.
I wouldn't mind he won the title if Ding cant do it. Hawkins deserves it for his consistency here since 2013.

This tournament’s been insane. If Judd goes out today too I’ll have an existential crisis.

Could be a turning point... 8-4 down and Trump might start giving up. As it is, he'll be confident again.

Thep had the chance to put this match to bed in this frame and he's fluffed it.

Whoever loses between Judd and Theppy will have to deal with the fact that it is 100% their own fault.
