Did he order a wild cat to keep as a pet? What a character.

You see PTC was criticised big time by Top Players but effectively missed by Lower Rank Players. Top Players wanted more summer Off and lower rank players wants to play during the summer ie Earn Cash. Top players loves invitationals they can play and earn without the pressure of ranking points while lower rank players cant play in them.
Seriously How can Barry Hearn keep everyone Happy?
Easy. Change the ranking system. It would solve all problems that exist in snooker!
Change it to what?
An incremental system - if you win it goes up, if you lose it goes down. That way
every tournament is a ranking tournament, including Shanghai, the Masters, Champion of Champions, Austrian Open, my local club championship, etc. Many more summer invitational events, players can pick and choose their schedules. We don't have these qualifying rounds in Barnsley and Preston, and organisers are guaranteed to get the players they want in the venues. It would also address the issue of slow/negative play. What's not to like?
i dont want every tournament a ranker personally i don't want the Coral series raking events either

He badly wants another crack at Ronnie, doesn't he? Probably feels he now has the upper hand in their rivalry.

True. He probably believes he owns Ronnie after finally beating him for the first time at the 17th or 18th attempt.

If he did lose, it’s as bad as Ronnie’s loss to Cahill imo. That guy is a complete unknown

Can't argue with that - at least Cahill had played some pro stuff.

Wu’s young, played q school and just missed out a pro card so he will probably be good. But this Zhang guy is already at mid 20s and never played a pro snooker match in his life

Carter must be incensed. Fly all the way to China to get beat by an amateur wildcard.
