The sponsors might give him huge appearance money, but he does play really well here.
Its by far the chinese event in which he has most sucess in.
Maybe because it has 'Masters' in its name.

People are reading too much in to Selby and Why he loses these days thinking its because players agressive etc etc.
Players has always had bad spells Neil Robbo couldn't buy a win 2 years ago missed out on the masters now hes up to top 4. Last season Murphy reached the quarters only twice and lost first round 7 times.
Selby will find a way through this nothing is surer.

And let’s not forget he’s won three tournaments since his WC win.
I’d love to have a bad spell like his!

After all my misadventures, there was a technical issue taping Eurosport and the deciding frame suddenly went black. I didn't see the end of Murphy and Williams.

Thats the problem with having success you have to live up to where you been....
there was times last season people were asking the question is Ronnie's best days behind him well it might well be by his standards but only by his standards nobody else.

Well said.
99% of players would love to have Ronnie's best days behind him, in fact last 2 seasons he has won 10 events! 8 rankers and 2 invitationals.

Ding v Robbo should be a great one. Ding loves playing here and seems to be motivated, and Robbo is playing well again.
With Ding is all about motivation these days... if he is motivated you can bet he will play well, even if he loses the match.

World No1, World Champion and Masters champion Judd Trump graces the tournament tomorrow.
World No1, World Champion and Masters champion Judd does not have an easy start against WC semi-finalist David Gilbert.
It will be interesting to see how far the World No1, World Champion and Masters champion can progress.

Just shows you how far Selby has fallen that he is now being mentioned in the same sentence as the likes of Barry Hawkins and Ali Carter.
