Monday 23rd- Sunday 29th of September at Guangzhou Tianhe Sports Centre,Guangzhou,China

The China Championship is the 3rd Ranking tournament of the season with Mark Selby defending the title he won last year beating John Higgins in a tense Final.

A Few major casulties from Barnsley as Ali Carter, Stuart Bingham and China's own Liang Wenbo which is a great disapointment for him.

Ronnie O'Sullivan also no there because he didnt enter but World Champion Judd Trump, John Higgins, Mark Allen, Mark Williams, Neil Robertson, Shaun Murphy amongst others are there along with Selby of course.

Who will reach the last 32?

He has 150k coming off after this event, needs at least a semi final

We're entering the Yan dynasty, after witnessing the fall of the Ding dynasty. Another interesting chapter in the rich and varied history of the Middle Kingdom.

You had a tournament with all the top players in it, Best of 11 rounds, Best of 19 Semis and Best of 21 Final.

If this isnt proper Snooker then nothing is.
