Ash embarassed himself throughout the tournament. predicted a ROS loss every match but was left disappointed.

Murphy loses yet another final.
At least he’s reaching them again, I suppose.

Murphy needs to win a smaller event soon. Doesn't have the all round game to compete with the very best players.

Hard pillow for Murphy. 7th final loss in a row.
Just like Higgins he keeps losing the big finals lately.

What a break in the end, and you can see how much it means to him, lovez this tournament, and who can blame him, one of the best on the calendar with a tremendous format.

Bit gutted for Murphy, but he had enough chances. Assuming Ronnie went into this tournament a bit on the cold side it’s got to feel good to scrap it out and win.

Is that it for Ronnie until the World Open? If so, we won't be seeing him again until the end of October.

its his immense scoring power which makes all the difference. Good day or bad day. It doesnt matter. Once he has a chance to score he's deadly.
Other players struggle to make a 50 on a bad day. He still makes 80's,90's and tons. Greatest breakbuilder of all time by far.

No.
They'll make the final long and dull to compensate.

Sullivan and Murphy? Aye. Sullivan actually named him and only him when asked to name who he disliked on tour.
