If Thepchaiya wins the trophy tomorrow, he will climb at No 14 of the world rankings and will be the highest ranked Asian player.

Trump will win tomorrow, but Un-Nooh knows he can give him a game if he’s in the right frame of mind. Their Crucible match was excellent.

It’s really strange. How many times did players fight back from a big deficit but once the game gets level then lose the decider with a simple mistake, when in theory they should be the ones having the momentum

2006 Higgins would be laughing right about now.
A bit sad to see Higgins crumble with the pink like that.

The overall story of the Trump-Higgins rivalry (despite the world final win) was the incredible streak of Higgins by virtually winning every close match against Trump. A lot of comebacks and deciding frame wins. It was like a trauma for Trump.
But he finally turned the tide now and scored his second consecutive win over Higgins in a proper match (bo11 or above).
I certainly dont disagree, he finally won a close match in a proper format against his biggest rival, Ronnie comes 2nd.
He's really the complete player now, and should make the most of it.

Just in general from 5-3 up. Two horrendous misses in the FFD too
