Why does MJW say he would reduce the comps he enters, skip the World Open but choose to play this? It’s not like he needs the money

Yea but even that doesn't make sense.
Mark has gone on record saying hes now basically hes playing for fun now and he wants to enjoy himself without the grind of trying to win things if it happens it happens so why does he need to practice?

Mark’s fault to enter originally and then withdraw now. Perhaps he’s in need of some petty cash then but got to the CC final unexpectedly so that need disappeared

Who is going to replace him?
Can't blame MJW. He's just banked 75 grand. I won't get out of bed even for a paid practice session.

Barry Hawkins with 6 wins out of 6 is flying through to the semi finals also through is Neil Robertson and by the skin of his teeth Mark Selby.
the final spot in the semi final will go to either Ryan Day or Luca Brecel
Luca needs to win to beat Neil Robertson to make the semis and relegate Jack Lisowski and Jimmy Robertson.
if Neil Robertson beats Brecel then Lisowski survives to play in group 2 and Brecel joins Jimmy Robertson out of the Championship league

After destroying the opposition in the Group stage Barry Hawkins scored just 43 points in the semi Final as Ryan Day played well to reach the final with a 3-0 win.
Currently Robbo 2-2 Selby in the other semi final
