I am sure it was all Selt's fault.
Look at his break off shot in the deciding frame. That caused it all. And Ford is going to give him his hand at the end, but sees Selt looking away and under stands what's happening with a sarcastic smile. I don't know if anything has happened before frame 5.

Hard to tell really.
Selt broke off stupidly.
Talking while Ford at table.

Saw the clip that Shelley Higgins posted. Selt walked off afterwards, without shaking Ford's hand.

There's always something a bit funny about Selt, hasn't there?
He was always sucking up to the big name players on Twitter, and was usually ignored.
You get the impression he isn't popular on the tour, but kind of wants to be.

I couldn’t make it all out but while Ford was at the table Selt said, “Happy now?” Then there was a bit of back and forth. I’ll listen again later and try to make out what they’re saying.
And at the end Selt says, “Don’t ever talk to me again.”

That'll really hurt Ford, won't it? Not being able to talk to Selt.

Selt was protesting at Ford's negative play hence the break.

The irony of Shelley Higgins protesting at bad behaviour at the table is clearly lost on her

Even though Selby has withdrawn from this, he has still made 6 centuries in the competition. This puts him top of the list for century breaks this season, with 24.

Getting to 2 frames is the difference of the Play Offs and Being eliminated from the Championship league for Joe Perry he doesn't even need to win this match.
